We liked both of these ideas however neither looked quite right so we developed the bottle and train iamge further as we thought these stood out the most and looked the most effective, they also link everything together well.

Digipak
Here is the finished digipak, we chose not to use the colour theme and to use black and white to make it less busy, it also meant we could highlight key details in colour to link the image together.

Digipak editing
First of all we made the CD by photoshopping the face onto the CD.
Then we took the photograph for the cover , we used all the elements from the video that we had planned to use.
We also took close up images of the train and bottle that we will draw.
These are the 2 drawings which we have made to put on our digipak we will also use them in the advert.
We then tried some different effects on the cover to make it more interesting and focus more on the album name and artist
We decided to use a colour scheme to link all the images together better.

Advert/digipak tests
We then came up with the idea of using a book self with our book on it, however we didnot think it would stand out enough.
We then re-evaluated our ideas and made a plan for the digipak.
We will use an image which uses all the elements for the front cover, we could then use this image for the advert.
we will use drawings of a bottle and a train as artwork and incorporate the track list into the bottle. We will use the sticky notes from the front cover to show band info.
we will take a still of joshs face for the actual CD as this is a strong image.
Finally we will use our test of the collaged images for the bonus CD panel.
